Teri Miller, Category Manager Food Lion, LLC

Teri Miller develops and manages the strategies of growing produce sales profitably.  To achieve this, Teri and her team identify key category insights and develop thought leadership to address customers’ needs through their very own centricity.

Food Lion hired Teri in 1988 as an internal auditor.  That position provided Teri the opportunity to see and learn a great deal about how retail items move through an organization – from a supplier all the way to a customer’s basket.  With her knowledge of the total organization, Teri’s influence was essential in creating Food Lion’s Supply Chain department.  Teri’s journey through Food Lion has allowed her to build a wide perspective of the business as she narrows her focus on the success of produce.

Teri is a graduate of University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a BS in Business.  She obtained the certifications of CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor).  Teri is originally from Salisbury which is the home of Food Lion.  She enjoys and appreciates the competitive nature of baseball and football.  However, she is in no way suitable to be on a golf course, unless driving a golf cart.
