2010 Member Scholarship Program Winners

We would like to offer our congratulations to the following students on being selected as the recipients of our member scholarship awards for 2010. Each winner will receive a scholarship in the amount of $2000.00.
 
  • John Martin Eubanks, son of Martin Eubanks South Carolina Department of Agriculture. John Martin will be attending Clemson University.
  • Winter Cullen, son of Calvert Cullen Northampton Growers. Winter will be attending the University of St. Thomas St. Paul, MN.
  • Rebecca Watson, daughter of Jerrold Watson Jerrold A. Watson & Sons. Rebecca will be attending Clemson University.
  • Joseph Prather, son of Michael Prather Flavor-Pic Tomato. Joseph will be attending Jefferson State Community College.
  • Grant Wohlford, son of Dan Wohlford Oneonta Starr Ranch. Grant will be attending Johnson County Community College Overland Park, KS.
  • Teagan Seeley, daughter of Matt Seeley The Nunes Company. Teagan will be attending the University of Kansas.
  • Shelby Narwold, daughter of Larry Narwold River Ranch Fresh Foods. Shelby is attending Georgia Southern University.
  • Adam Estess, son of Rick Estess RPE (Russet Potato Exchange). Adam is attending the University of Dayton School of Law.
  • Geran Daniels, son of Mark Daniels Military Produce Group. Geran is attending the Savannah College of Art & Design.
  • John Avola, Produce for Kids. John is attending Hodges University Naples, FL.
 
We received a total of fourteen applications for the 2010 Member Scholarship Program. At the June 10 Board of Directors meeting it was unanimously approved to award $1000.00 scholarships to the following:
 
  • Stephanie & Nicole Denzel, daughters of Jeff Denzel Fresh Gourmet. Stephanie and Nicole are currently attending Ohio University.
  • Laura Boger, daughter of Ed Boger Sell Ethics Marketing.
  • Danielle Marie Emery, daughter of Douglas Emery Advantage Sales & Marketing.

We wish all of these outstanding students our best in all of their future endeavors.
